Travel
The event is held in the building of the Fraunhofer IGD in Darmstadt. See their page for details how to get to the institute. Darmstadt is located about 30 kilometers south of Frankfurt. It is easily reached by train (see the Bahn for details). There is also a very convenient shuttle bus directly from the Frankfurt Airport, which takes about 25 minutes to get you right into the center of Darmstadt, which gets you into walking distance of IGD and a number of hotels. Darmstadt has a number of hotels, a list can be found here, which is part of the City of Darmstadt's homepage, also containing other info about Darmstadt. Two new hotels, which are not on that list yet, are the Ibis and Etap, both of which are still in walking distance (~15 minutes) and relatively cheap. |
